What a fantastic week we’ve had with our Year 5/6 production of Dracula Rock Show!

Our pupils delivered three incredible performances, showcasing amazing singing, acting, dancing and confidence on stage. From the very first scene to the final encore, they entertained audiences with energy, humour and enthusiasm.

A huge well done to every child involved for their hard work and commitment over the last few weeks. We are so proud of the way they supported one another and rose to the occasion. Thank you also to our staff, families and friends for helping to make the performances such a success.

We were thrilled to welcome CBeebies megastar Andy Day to our school today!

The children had an unforgettable experience as he read from his brand-new book, bringing the story to life with his energy and enthusiasm. 📚✨

The excitement continued with a fun quiz (with some very impressive knowledge on display!) and a fantastic singalong that had everyone joining in with big smiles. 🎶

It was such a memorable visit that really inspired our pupils and sparked a love of reading and performing. A huge thank you to Andy for making the day so special!

What a fantastic afternoon we had at our Outdoor Learning Showcase yesterday! It was wonderful to welcome so many families into school to experience the creativity, curiosity and joy that outdoor learning brings to our children’s education.

From collaborative problem-solving and nature exploration, to hands-on activities and imaginative play, our pupils demonstrated a real love of learning beyond the classroom walls – we couldn’t be prouder of them. 🌳🪵🌼

We look forward to many more opportunities to learn, explore and grow together outdoors! 🌞

This afternoon, our wonderful Year 6 Reading Leaders enjoyed a special visit to Croft House Nursing Home, making the most of the beautiful sunshine while chatting and reading with residents.

The children were truly fantastic-showing kindness, confidence and respect throughout. They embraced the opportunity wholeheartedly and made the most of what was, in many ways, a very humble but incredibly meaningful experience. We are so proud of the positive impact they made and the joy they brought to others!

Well done to all the performers at Eastburn Live last night - what a fantastic evening of music and talent! We are so proud of all our students who took to the stage and performed with such confidence, energy, and passion. From uplifting choir pieces to impressive solo performances, every act showcased the hard work and dedication that has gone into preparing for this special event.

A huge thank you to our music staff for their guidance and support, and to all the families and friends who came along to cheer everyone on. Your encouragement makes all the difference! 👏

Our amazing Year 6 pupils are enjoying some well-deserved time at the park, in their new leaver’s hoodies, after an incredible week of smashing their SATs!

They’ve shown fantastic resilience, determination and positivity all week- we couldn’t be any prouder of them. Well done, Year 6!

Some of our amazing Year 4 pupils took part in the South Craven Y3/4 cricket tournament at Sutton yesterday - and they only went and won!

The team showed outstanding teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the afternoon. They represented our school brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved.

We are so proud of you all and look forward to have the trophy proudly on display in school.

The 'Eastburn Garden Squad' have begun working together every Friday lunchtime. Thank you to all the children and adults that have volunteered to give up their time. It's the turn of Oak and Willow tomorrow - let's hope the sun continues to shine!
