Year 6 had a fabulous time exploring the as part of their learning about Yorkshire and their reading study of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. They walked in the footsteps of the Brontë family to Brontë waterfalls and towards Top Withens then back into Haworth past the Parsonage and down Haworth Main Street. They even litter picked along the way too!

Reception have been learning all about hedgehogs today. This is linked to our learning about Autumn. We learnt that they curl up into a ball when they are scared and that their babies are called hoglets. We painted hedgehogs, made them out of playdoh and made some in our DT area. What a busy day!

Outdoor learning visited a brand new woods today.
Woodville, is a fab location with gardens, community centre and a woodland all on one site. Today 3CM enjoyed gathering and categorising woodland treasures into a giant nature wheel. Then we enjoyed a story together around the fire pit
