We had a super exciting visit to Temple Newsam Farm on Thursday. We saw lots of different animals and even some new babies that had just been born! After we had finished at the farm we went for some yummy lunch and a play in the playbarn 🥰

🥕 Today the children practised their cutting skills using child-safe knives to prepare a variety of vegetables. We discussed the names of the vegetables, explored how they looked and smelt, and tasted them to compare flavours. This activity supported fine motor development, communication skills, and encouraged the children to explore new foods. (No food was wasted, Lisa bought it all on a yellow sticker shop the night before!) 💛
