🏆 World Cup Fever has arrived at Gomersal House ⚽✨

With the World Cup kicking off this week, our little athletes have been channeling their energy into our very own Sports Day!
We’ve had so much fun practicing our teamwork and coordination with some classic games:
🎯 Bean bag tossing (great for aiming!)
🥄 Egg and spoon balancing (amazing focus!)
🏃‍♂️ Fun races (testing out those speedy legs!)
🎳 Pin and ball rolling (perfect for hand-eye coordination!)
🏅 The best part? We even got creative and made our very own custom medals to celebrate everyone's hard work! 🎨✨

🕵️‍♂️🐞 Our Great Minibeast Hunt! 🐜🔍

Yesterday, our Curious Roses and Tiny Tulips teamed up for a massive bug hunt adventure in the garden! 🌿
Before heading outside, we gathered for a group chat about different minibeasts and brainstorm exactly where they might be hiding. Our little detectives remembered the clues perfectly! 🧠💡
Once outside, the children worked beautifully together. They shared clues, helped each other look under leaves, and didn't stop until they found every single bug on their list! 📋✨

We are so proud of their incredible teamwork, sharp eyes, and how wonderfully our rooms collaborated today. Way to go, explorers! 🥳🐛

Our Little Blossoms have been having a wonderful time exploring our farm-themed sensory tray!

We filled the tray with natural textures - fresh grass, soft flower petals, and soft soil to give our little learners a real "hands-on" experience. 🌿✨

To boost communication and language skills, we added some farm animal friends! We’ve been practicing:

• 🐷 Loud "Oinks!" and "Mooos!"
• 🐑 Naming our favorite animals.
• 🌾 Describing all the different textures we can feel.

We've been very busy gardeners this week with our hands deep in the soil! planting our strawberries, 🍓 mint, and lettuce. 🥬 We can’t wait to watch them grow. During the process, we explored:

• ☀️ What plants need to grow (lots of love, water, and sunlight!)

• 🌿 The different parts of a plant, from the hidden roots to the tiny leaves.

🌟 A Week of Discovery & Teamwork! 🌟

From garden chefs to mini-engineers, it’s been an incredible week of learning!

🌿 In the Mud Kitchen:
The Curious Roses and Tiny Tulips got creative with nature! Using soil, pinecones, and potatoes, they explored how things grow while "cooking" up imaginary treats with their friends.

⚽ The Big Ball Challenge:
Our curious roses joined Emilia for a STEM obstacle course! They used tubes, bowls, and lots of critical thinking to get a ball to balance and drop into its target. Their teamwork and communication was top-notch!
Whether mixing mud or balancing tubes, we love seeing our children solve problems and work together.

Earlier this week, our preschoolers had a blast tackling a tricky obstacle course with Emilia! 🏆

The mission was to roll a ball down the tube so it would balance and drop perfectly into a bowl. It was amazing to watch the children use their critical thinking and teamwork to figure out the best angles and heights to make it work! 🧪✨ by using great communication and social skills, they reached their goal and had so much fun doing it. Way to go, little engineers! 👏⚽️
