Had a bit of time to myself this afternoon, not teaching today.
Went to a private pond I've not fished for a couple of years, had the place to myself.
Only fished for hour and a bit, had well over 40 Rudd in 2 sizes.

Meet Max; he only started fishing earlier this year on a Canal & River Trust Angling Let's Fish event. He's had a couple of lessons since then, but improving all the time. His first time at Farview fishing lakes
He listens to whats being said and concentrates on what hes doing, the results follow.
New PB (personal best) this week twice. We didn't weigh them but they are definitely getting bigger.

Badr just had his first ever fishing lesson with us at Farview fishing lakes
It was hard going with clear skies and baking sun.
Started off on maggots, got a few small silvers, switched to corn had a small skimmer. Then a change worm, produced some bigger skimmers.
Badr made lots of notes and has now gone in search of his own fishing tackle.

A lovely perch for starters, followed by some nice roach and another smaller perch.

Family fishing lesson yesterday at Farview fishing lakes
First time fishing for all three, hard gouing in the heat, but everyone caught fish.
This was the last fish of the session, not the biggest they had but still a nice roach to end on.

A nice end to a 12-hour stint on the bank at Farview fishing lakes
Great to see young and old alike all catching fish. Most had never tried angling; one or two had not done it since they were kids.
