Looking for simple ways to keep your little ones happy and busy over the summer holidays without spending lots of money? 💛

Here are some fun ideas you can enjoy together:

🌳 Nature Hunt – Go for a walk and see how many different leaves, flowers, birds, sticks and bugs you can spot.

🫧 Bubble Fun – Grab some bubbles and head outside. See who can make the biggest bubble!

🎨 Nature Art – Collect leaves, twigs and flowers and use them to make pictures or patterns.

💦 Water Play – A bowl, bucket or paddling pool with cups, spoons and containers can provide hours of fun.

🧸 Teddy Bear Picnic – Pack a simple snack, bring your favourite teddy and enjoy a picnic in the garden or local park.

📚 Story Time Outdoors – Take a favourite book into the garden or park and enjoy a story in the sunshine.

🖍️ Chalk Art – Use pavement chalk to draw pictures, make roads, practice letters or create a giant rainbow.

🏠 Den Building – Use blankets, cushions and boxes to build a cosy den at home.

🍦 Ice Lolly Fun – Make your own simple ice lollies using fruit and juice.

🎵 Music & Dance – Put on your favourite songs and have a family dance party!

🔎 Treasure Hunt – Hide toys or objects around the garden or house and give your little explorer clues to find them.

🌱 Grow Something – Plant a seed, cress or even a bean in a cup and watch it grow.

💛 Remember, children don’t need expensive days out to have fun. Time together, exploring, playing and getting messy can create the best memories!

Gino travels and caravan holiday.
Gino enjoyed sharing his fish and chips and drink, he enjoyed sitting down after a busy day playing out. Gino also shared his ice lolly as it was a very hot day down at the caravan. Gino loved also sharing his breakfast, before a busy day ahead of going to nursery and then travelling down to the caravan straight after. Every morning Gino brushed his teeth after his breakfast and brushed them at bedtime. Gino said he has the best time and can’t wait to go on his next adventure 🐻❤️

☀️ Water Safety Reminder ☀️

As the weather gets warmer, please help keep children safe in and around water. Always supervise little ones closely near paddling pools, ponds, baths and swimming pools, empty paddling pools after use, and encourage regular drinks and sun-safe breaks in the shade. A few simple precautions can help everyone enjoy the sunshine safely! 💦🕶️🌞

🐻🌟 Gino’s Adventures 🌟🐻

Last weekend, Gino had a very special sleepover with two of our pre-schoolers and what a fantastic time he had! 🧸✨ He loved playing in the garden, especially zooming around on the bike 🚲, singing songs with his new best friend 🎶, brushing his teeth before bed 🪥, and snuggling up all cosy at bedtime 💤💖.

Gino couldn’t wait to get back to pre-school to tell all his friends about his exciting weekend adventures! He even returned wearing a brand-new outfit made especially for him 👕🌟.

We can’t wait to see where Gino’s next adventure takes him! 🧸💫
