We hope all our children (and their grown ups!) enjoyed our end of year party. Thanks to the staff at Sedbergh leisure centre for the use of their very friendly dragon! Goodbye and good luck to those children moving on to big school - we’ll miss you! We hope you all enjoy the summer break and we’ll see our returners back at Victoria Hall on Wednesday 4th September 😆

We have spaces at our Tykes at Queensbury Pre-School and Tykes at Stocks Lane sites available from September 2024. We offer funded places, (Nursery Education funding, Working Parent's entitlement and Terrific Twos places), tax free childcare and paid places. As you are no doubt aware Victoria Hall in Queensbury is under threat of closure from Bradford council. We, Tykes Pre-schools, are one of the existing users of the building, providing pre-school services to children aged 2 to 4 years from the local area.

Our setting has been based in Victoria Hall for over 40 years providing pre-school and playgroup services and we are backing the campaign to keep Victoria Hall open for the residents of Queensbury and the surrounding areas.

Please sign the petition so we can continue to provide good quality early education to young children before they begin their school journey.

World Book Day - Thursday 2nd March

To celebrate World Book Day all children will be able to choose one of our pre-school books to take home to read with you.
Children are also welcome to bring in a favourite book from home to share with us or dress up as their favourite book character :-)

Our new “create your own” play dough station is set up and ready to go. Just add children! 😀

Unfortunately Tykes @ Queensbury Pre-school is closed today due to the failure of the boiler at Victoria Hall. As soon as we have an update we will let parents and carers know. Apologies for the short notice.
