Dear Parents and Carers,

We have sent an important email regarding a safety concern in the local park.

Please check your emails for further information and talk to your child about the safety advice we have shared.

The police are aware of the concerns and school is working closely with them to help keep our children and community safe.

Thank you for your support.

🌻🌱 1 Pine have been busy planting sunflowers!
As part of our learning about plants, we have been finding out what plants need to grow and how they change over time.

We put our learning into practice by planting our very own sunflower seeds. The children carefully planted their seeds and are now looking forward to watching them grow! 🌱☀️

We can’t wait to see how tall our sunflowers become! 🌻💛

👑📚 1 Pine have been busy learning about time order words!
We have been reading The Queen’s Hat and learning how to sequence events in the story using words such as first, next, then and finally.

The children have been fantastic at retelling the story in the correct order and explaining what happened along the way. 🗣️

Well done, 1 Pine! 🌟📖

KS2 have spent some time in The Croi listening to and wondering about The Creation Story in Miss Blanchfield ‘s Godly Play session.

We thought about the most important gifts that we have received and wondered why some gifts can go unnoticed. We listened to the story and then discussed which gift we saw ourselves in and questioned whether we could get rid of a gift but still have everything we need.

KS1 enjoyed listening to and wondering about The Creation Story for their first Godly Play session of the year.

We thought about the greatest gifts that we had ever been given and then heard about the gifts that God gave us during the 7 days of Creation. Some of our favourite gifts were love, our families and our friends.
