The CACHE Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (often just called Level 2 Early Years Diploma) is a vocational qualification for working with children from birth to age 7, providing core knowledge and skills for roles like Nursery Practitioner or Classroom Assistant, requiring practical placement and leading to Level 3 study or supervised employment, and replacing older Level 2 certificates.
