Excited to share these photos of a stunning swimming pool on a recently completed 5 bed detached house in Windermere.

We are very proud to announce that our Technical Director Guy Price was awarded the Retrofit Academy Award for Retrofit Designer of the Year 2024, on 05/03/24 at a well-attended awards ceremony at the Excel in London.

It’s well deserved after being nominated last year, and committing to providing the highest standards with the goal of improving people’s lives through great design.

It’s been a very busy 12 months for the team at Fineline with projects right across the country, every one given the same professional, friendly approach that keeps our clients returning, and the end user warm and energy efficient, whilst tackling climate change and economic impact.

Delighted to share some our concept visuals for three bespoke dwellings located on a riverside in Yorkshire.

The proposed design offers unique aesthetics, with a contemporary style through a mixture of engineering brick, powder coated steel and Corten cladding, inclusive of floor to ceiling glazing to maximise natural light and views across the countryside.

The proposal considers the flood plain of the adjacent river and has incorporated raised platforms with undercroft parking.

Excited to share another one of our spectacular boathouses on the shores of Lake Windermere, currently nearing completion with a view to be be ready this Summer!

This unique property consists of a beautiful Cumbrian stone finish which blends in naturally within the Lake District surroundings, mixed with a contemporary approach and mixed use of materials including an Anthracite Zinc and a Western Red Cedral timber cladding.

The space takes advantage of the views with strategically placed glazing throughout which captures the ever changing views of the landscape and incorporates an automated boathouse door for easy access and egress when captaining the largest lake in not just the Lake District, but England.
