🌟 Celebration Worship This Week! 🌟

What a wonderful week of celebrating our children and all they have achieved! 🎉

During our Celebration Worship, children were awarded certificates by their class teachers to recognise their hard work, effort, progress and positive contributions throughout the week.

We also celebrated our Peer Awards — a very special award chosen by the pupils in each class to recognise someone who has gone above and beyond and made a positive difference to those around them. 💛

We are incredibly proud of every single one of our children. It has been wonderful to see so many examples of kindness, determination, bravery, encouragement and joy across our school community.

You are truly showing us what it means to live our vision of Growing Together with Love, Courage and Joy. 🌱❤️
Well done, everyone — keep shining!

Y5 CLIFFE CASTLE VISIT 🚌

Yesterday, year 5 enjoyed a captivating trip to Cliffe Castle Museum! 🏛️
We took part in a River Nile workshop, where we built our very own Ancient Egyptian settlement along the banks of the world's longest river. Next, we learned all about the mummification process, canopic jars, magical treasures and even a real mummy! 🫙
After a well deserved lunch break, we went to explore all of the other treasures the museum had on display, including fossils, animals, and glow in the dark crystals! 💎
Finally, to end the day (and to burn off some energy!) we enjoyed a trip to the park in the sunshine. What a day, we all had a blast! ☀️

On Friday 9th October, we will be supporting World Mental Health Day by inviting all children to come to school dressed in yellow.

We are asking for a voluntary donation of £1, which can be made via ParentPay. All money raised will be donated to YoungMinds, a UK charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

By taking part, we can help raise awareness of the importance of mental health while supporting a fantastic cause that works to ensure no young person feels alone with their mental health.

We look forward to seeing our school filled with yellow as we come together to show our support! 💛

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to everyone who baked, donated goodies, and helped make the event such a lovely success. Your support means so much! 🧁🍰

If you missed out, don’t worry! Any buns and treats that haven’t been sold will be available tomorrow morning at the buggy park, and again after school, if there are still some remaining.

Thank you once again to everyone who supported and helped us raise money for such a wonderful cause. 💚
