STI SCHOOL CELEBRATES FOOTBALL LEAGUE ACHIEVEMENTS AT ANNUAL AWARD CEREMONY

STI School proudly hosted its annual football league award ceremony, recognising the hard work, talent and positive spirit shown by students throughout the competition.

The football league remains a valued part of the school calendar. Alongside encouraging fitness and teamwork, it supports students’ tarbiyah by giving staff an opportunity to nurture discipline, character and good conduct beyond the madrasa environment.

The ceremony opened with a recitation from the Noble Qur’an, followed by a naat recital. Staff members and league supervisors then reflected on the commitment, brotherhood and sportsmanship demonstrated by the students during the league.

A range of awards and prizes were presented to celebrate individual performances and team achievements. The occasion concluded with a collective dua and a meal shared by students, staff and guests.

STI School sincerely thanks the team at Hockney Community Centre for their continued support in helping to deliver the football league. May Allah Ta’ala reward them abundantly, Ameen.

We also extend special thanks to Delicious Parmesan House and Spudwarma for their generous contributions. May Allah Ta’ala place abundant barakah in their businesses, Ameen.

🏏 SUFFA SUMMER CAMP 2026: KS3 House Champions Rewarded with a Memorable Day at Yorkshire County Cricket Club

STI School’s Suffa Summer Camp 2026 got off to a fantastic start as we celebrated our Key Stage 3 House Competition Champions with a well-deserved reward trip to Yorkshire County Cricket Club (Official).

The visit recognised the hard work, commitment and outstanding achievements of our students throughout their final KS3 term. It was a day filled with excitement as they watched top-class live cricket, explored one of the country’s most iconic sporting venues, and had the experience of performing Salah at the stadium; a special moment that embodied one of STI School’s core values: remaining steadfast in their Iman and taking their faith with them wherever they are.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Yorkshire Cricket Foundation for their warm hospitality and continued support.

A special thank you also goes to Delicious Parmesan House for generously hosting our students and staff, providing a delicious meal and exceptional hospitality that perfectly rounded off a memorable day.

May Allah Ta'ala reward everyone who contributed to making this experience possible with abundant blessings, Ameen.

PARENTS’ EVENING AT STI SCHOOL

“Each of you is like a shepherd, responsible for those under your care.” (Hadith)

A sincere thank you to all the parents and families who attended our Parents’ Evening at STI School. We were thrilled by the turnout and truly appreciate the time you dedicated to discussing your child’s progress, development, and goals.

At STI School, we believe a child’s education thrives when families and teachers collaborate towards a common purpose. Our experience shows that students who make the most progress are often those whose parents actively participate in their learning and work with mosque tutors to nurture both academic success and Islamic morals.

Your support at home, together with our dedicated staff’s guidance, builds a strong foundation for our children to develop knowledge, confidence, and good character.

May Allah Ta’ala bless all our students with beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, and success in this life and the Hereafter. We pray that He rewards our parents and staff generously for their efforts. Ameen.

The assembly emphasised key lessons from the event of Karbala, including courage, patience, faith, sacrifice, and compassion, lessons that continue to inspire people worldwide today.

The assembly also highlighted other key events that occurred during the sacred month of Muharram to help students better understand its significance in Islamic history.
