Hand Made Communications Makaton Training

Some people have Wobbly Wednesdays or see Wednesdays as a mid week hump! Not in my shoes baby!

For me, Wednesdays are usually Wonderful Wednesdays or Waa Gwaan Wednesdays! Why? I hear you cry!

That’s because Wednesdays involve delivering MakaFun - Fun for Everyone early development sessions to Midland Road Nursery School and Abbey Green Nursery - School!

In this morning’s session we all kinda got covered in glitter during a parachute activity whilst having fun! Then I came outside to continue the sparkle outside in the sunshine!

Add in a lunch break at House Of Bread into the mix, and it’s definitely a waa gwaan Wednesday!

Ooooh I had such a fun weekend delivering Makaton training to Greenglade Day Nursery & Forest School.

What a gorgeous setting! But even more so, what gorgeous staff and management! Enthusiastic practitioners full of passion around Early Years ❤️

I delivered a Using Makaton With Singing workshop to them. I went with lots of props and we discussed how to keep singing visual with props, signing, symbols and objects of reference to build on learning.

Lots and lots of MakaFun - Fun for Everyone was had!
