On Saturday, 16th November, a gathering was held at JTI Haworth Road Masjid under the guidance of His Eminence Peer Syed Muhammad Ahsan Shah, addressing the topic The Fitna of Modern-Day Dajjals.
The event commenced with a brief introduction by our resident Imam, Aleem Bashir. This was followed by a beautiful recitation of the Qur'an Al-Kareem and Naat Sharif by a former Imam, Qari Abid Hussain Naushahi. We were also honoured by the presence of Qari Esa Khan Naushahi, a frequent visitor to the Masjid who requires no introduction. Qari Sahib graced the gathering with a heartfelt recitation of Naat Sharif.
Qibla Peer Sayyid Ahsan Shah Naushahi delivered words of wisdom and further blessed the gathering with Qaidahs and Naat Sharif.
After the Isha Salah, our esteemed guest, Shaykh Asrar Rashid, gave a thought-provoking speech on the topic The Fitna of Modern-Day Dajjals. The Shaykh presented numerous examples highlighting situations where Muslims must remain vigilant and equip themselves to counter behaviours and ideologies that distort the teachings of orthodox Islam and the traditional path of the Sunnah.
The gathering concluded in our customary manner with the recitation of Mustafa Jaane Rehmat Pe Laakhon Salaam.
