Hey, are people still here? I've been focusing loads on LinkedIn and neglected Facebook!

This is partially because the last few times I've tried to post it hasn't worked and I've given up.

Anyway, a new one to share if you're wondering what the government are planning to get up with regards to education:

The only Curriculum and Assessment Review headline that really matters is this: It's c200 pages of suggestions FOR THE GOVERNMENT, not for you, your school, your trust or your educational organisation. However, most of us want to remain abreast and poised, ready to make changes when the time comes.....

Is today the worst day of SATs?

The reading test that used to be the first test they did, and which can be so unpredictable and difficult?

Or is it Wednesday, when they have to do two separate maths tests?

Could it be Thursday because they've just had enough?

Even Monday could be considered because it's the first day and all the processes are unfamiliar?

What do you think? What's the most difficult day of SATs week?

(p.s. say Friday if you need to - I know it's not without it's stresses!)

You know your curriculum is jam-packed but you're waiting for the government to finish their curriculum review before you do anything about it.

The thing is, you could be doing something about it now.

You could be developing a curriculum now to roll out in September that better serves your pupils and your teachers.

You never need to wait to do what is right for them.

You know best what is right for you, your school and your community.

The summer term can be busy, but not so busy that this important work can't be tackled.

And if it all seems a bit much, but you know it needs to be done, that's where I can help.

Curriculum development is my jam, I'm good at it, and I'm good at helping others to be good at it.

Don't wait around to do what's right for you.
