Is today the worst day of SATs?

The reading test that used to be the first test they did, and which can be so unpredictable and difficult?

Or is it Wednesday, when they have to do two separate maths tests?

Could it be Thursday because they've just had enough?

Even Monday could be considered because it's the first day and all the processes are unfamiliar?

What do you think? What's the most difficult day of SATs week?

Why is SATs week weather ALWAYS like this?!

All the best to all those participating this week!

You know your curriculum is jam-packed but you're waiting for the government to finish their curriculum review before you do anything about it.

The thing is, you could be doing something about it now.

You could be developing a curriculum now to roll out in September that better serves your pupils and your teachers.

You never need to wait to do what is right for them.

You know best what is right for you, your school and your community.

The summer term can be busy, but not so busy that this important work can't be tackled.

And if it all seems a bit much, but you know it needs to be done, that's where I can help.

Curriculum development is my jam, I'm good at it, and I'm good at helping others to be good at it.

Don't wait around to do what's right for you.

I went to my year 6 daughter's parents' evening and they showed me how well she'd done on the SATs reading mocks.

The only tweak she needed?

To be able to answer three mark questions.
