Sally and the team have been busy this morning setting out all of the new resources for the children to explore.

We can’t wait for you to see them all ☺️

Today is national snake day! In Green Room we have learnt all about snakes and during group time we even had the privilege of seeing and feeling a real snake skin!! 🐍
The children loved talking about the feel of the skin, how it sounded and if it smelt! After this we all explored some snake themed activities, we spelt out the word snake in coloured sand, we made our own snake print with paint and bubble wrap, we had green Playdough and rolled it out to represent a snake and we made our own paper plate snakes.
We have had such a fun filled day learning all about snakes!😊💚

🎶 It's coming home... it's coming home... football's coming home! ⚽🏆

What a goal-tastic day we've had in yellow room today at nursery!

Our little football fans had so much fun decorating their very own delicious football biscuits 🍪⚽ before making their very own England flags ready to wave tonight! This afternoon we had lots of fun putting our detective skills to the test with our "Find the Footballer" sensory tuff tray! Hidden footballers were discovered, imaginations were buzzing, and there were lots of smiles, laughter, and teamwork along the way. What footballers can you spot? 🔍

We've had a fantastic day celebrating all things football while learning through play. Now we're cheering on England... Come on, England! 🏴⚽❤️

My final parent Number Train classes of 2026 are complete, and I’m feeling a real mixture of emotions.

I couldn’t be prouder of every single little one I’ve had the privilege of teaching this year. Watching them grow in confidence has been such a joy. It’s not just been about learning numbers, it’s been about building friendships, learning to take turns, working as a team, and developing communication, confidence and all those important EYFS skills that help children thrive.

Seeing children who were once nervous, walk through the door with huge smiles, ready to jump on the train each week, reminds me exactly why I do this. Knowing they leave feeling confident, capable and excited to learn is the greatest reward.

Thank you to every parent, grandparent and childminder who booked onto my classes and brought your little ones along each week. Your support during my first year in business has meant more than I can put into words, and I honestly can’t thank you enough. I’ve loved getting to know you all and being part of your children’s early learning journey.

To my 2026 Number Train Graduates… you are more than ready for your next adventure. 🌟

How lucky am I that I get to call this my job? ❤️❤️❤️

💚 Friday Fun in Green room 💚 This morning we have enjoyed lots of water play including paddling our feet and having water fights. We have also played drive thru ice cream shops and talked about the flavours for sale.
