A big welcome to all the new starters joining us over the coming day starting today

The first session can feel a lot, new faces, new venues and a coach they havnt met

That’s completely normal. But you will be welcomed by a huge smile and high 5 from our amazing coaches who love the job they do!

It may take 5 minutes, it may take half an hour, that’s why we do our free taster sessions! Each child is different

Thinking about joining? New starters are always welcome at any of our sessions

Extra PE bout around them

On top of their regular PE sessions, we run an extra session in school just for children with SEND

Same structure every week, so there no real surprises (other than the ones from bucket time which they love). A calm space, activities set up and waiting so children can watch, get curious and join in when they are ready

It’s when they are ready, not when we say. To try something new without pressure, to build the confidence so they do the activities themselves.

Here’s what to expect from a YSD/ sports and dance camp

Drop off with a coach who will welcome them with a big smile!
Warm up games so they get to meet new friends
Then a full day of choosing what they would like to do from; sports, dance or football

No sitting around and no screens

Just active happy children and a pick up where they are excited to tell you about their day

Half term is closer than it feels

If you’ve thought about our holiday clubs but held off its probably because of 1 of these 3 things:

They won’t know anybody. Most don’t but we mix groups up early and by the first break they have a new friend

They’re not the sporty type. Doesn’t matter. Every game is chosen by the children, choice is a big part of what we do. Be it football, dance or team games there’s something for everybody

I need it to be reliable. 2 companies who have been going 12 years. Staff who care about the children, turn up on time every time. That’s the bit parents tell us they value the most

Our football centre works in 2 ways

For children who have never been to a football session but have a passion for football and want to build confidence before joining a team

For children already playing for a local grassroots club, it’s simply extra training alongside their season, more touches on the ball and more game understanding
