We loved observing the campfire today . We watched the fire wood burn and turn to embers and of course had a sweet treat to celebrate our learning outdoors together 💛🫶🏻

A beautiful afternoon with the team at Foxhill Primary 💛❤️
Year 3 enjoyed exploring and learning about different mushrooms, we even found a Brown Rolled Rim!
There were lots of ladybirds to make friends with and creativity with wool, sticks and whittling tools.
Children talked about it being “the best day of my life” and how “I never want to stop coming to forest school!”

And this is why I love my job. Teaching and inspiring children and hoping I make a difference along the way 🥰

Back at Lidget Green Academy for another fun packed year ahead!
Today we’re going to continue our ladybird focus from last week and make some ladybird watercolour pictures.
Did you know a group of ladybirds is called a ‘loveliness’?
Collective nouns are a special interest of mine! ☺️
Also all the usual forest school activities in the safe space of the garden and cozy cabin.
Year 3 and specific nurture group support today.
Ready for the fun 💛

It’s a beautiful day to explore the outdoors. Today we’ve been up to Pen*stone and admired the colours of the heather and the grassland, some orange fungi dotted around too!

Hi everyone, say hello to my puppy, Poppy!
She’s coming up to 6 months old and is loving life. We’re exploring and learning together.
One day, Poppy might like to come and join me and my groups in the woods. She’s already been asking me but she’s not quite ready just yet 😉

Hi everyone! 🐶 🐾 💕
