๐ŸŽ“โœจ What a Results Day! โœจ๐ŸŽ“

There have been smiles, celebrations and some seriously exciting destinations across Dixons today! ๐Ÿ’™

Weโ€™re celebrating fantastic A level outcomes at Dixons Allerton Academy, Dixons Broadgreen Academy and Dixons Sixth Form, alongside continued excellence in vocational qualifications. And the next steps for our students are just as excitingโ€ฆ

At Dixons Sixth Form:
๐ŸŒŸ four students heading to Oxbridge
๐Ÿฉบ 10 heading off to study medicine
๐Ÿฆท four heading off to study dentistry

And over at Dixons Broadgreen Academy, weโ€™re celebrating an incredible set of results for a student heading to the University of Liverpool to study Medicine, including an A in Chemistry, A in Mathematics and B in Biology. ๐Ÿ‘

But these are just a few of the many success stories weโ€™re celebrating today. From university and professional courses to apprenticeships, employment and exciting new opportunities, our students are setting off towards some brilliant destinations.

At Dixons, we talk about climbing your mountain ๐Ÿ”๏ธ and today is the perfect moment to stop, look back at how far youโ€™ve come, celebrate the summit and get ready for whatever comes next.

Congratulations to all our students, youโ€™ve done brilliantly! ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ’™

Good luck to our Dixons students! ๐Ÿ€

As A level results day approaches tomorrow, we want to wish all of our students the very best of luck. ๐Ÿคž

Youโ€™ve worked incredibly hard, shown resilience and dedication, and climbed some pretty big mountains along the way. โ›ฐ๏ธ

Whatever tomorrow brings, remember that reaching this point is an achievement in itself, and your results are just one part of the journey ahead.

Keep looking to the next summit and believe in what you can achieve. ๐ŸŒŸ

Good luck, everyone - weโ€™re keeping everything crossed for you! โค๏ธ

Year 6 students at Dixons Marchbank Primary have been exploring the volume of compound shapes through practical, hands-on learning.

Using linking cubes to build 3D models, students applied their knowledge of volume to calculate the total space occupied. Along the way, they demonstrated excellent collaboration, problem-solving and mathematical reasoning, confidently explaining and justifying their methods.

A fantastic example of learning brought to life! ๐Ÿงฎ๐Ÿ‘

Year 10 students recently enjoyed a fascinating history expedition to Norton Priory as part of their GCSE history course ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ“š

The visit gave students the opportunity to explore one of Britain's most significant monastic sites while supporting their 'History Around Us' exam paper studies. From the medieval priory to the museum, students experienced first-hand how physical evidence helps bring history to life.

Expeditions like these provide valuable opportunities to deepen learning and inspire curiosity beyond the classroom!

This week, Dixons Unity Academy had the pleasure of welcoming the Generation Together group from Armley Helping Hands.

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with conversation, laughter and plenty of smiles as people of different generations came together to share stories, make new friendships and enjoy a few games of bingo โ€“ a firm favourite!

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day so special. Opportunities like these remind us of the importance of kindness, inclusion and building strong community connections.

We look forward to seeing many more moments like this in the future ๐Ÿ’š

What a fantastic afternoon at Dixons Manningham Primary! ๐Ÿ

As part of the academy's sports day, our Head of Cricket delivered an introductory cricket fitness and fielding session with an enthusiastic group of Year 5 students.
From the very first warm-up, the energy was infectious. Students embraced every challenge with confidence, curiosity and determination, developing new skills while encouraging one another every step of the way.

These opportunities are about far more than sport. They help build confidence, resilience and teamwork, giving young people the chance to discover new interests, challenge themselves and experience the joy of being active.

๐Ÿฉธ Science came to life for Year 6 at Dixons Marchbank Primary!

Students explored the four main components of blood, learning about the important roles of red and white blood cells, plasma and platelets before creating their own "fake blood" using substitute ingredients.

A brilliant hands-on activity that made learning engaging, memorable and lots of fun!
