At Partou, the children are the leaders. About:
An exceptional new daycare setting in Apperley Bridge, Bradford. Woodlands Park Day Nursery is a privately owned family run business in Apperley Bridge. We pride ourselves on providing an exclusive & exceptionally high quality childcare and education in a safe, and stimulating Environment. Woodlands Park boasts an inspirational woodland site and outd
oor facilities alongside its idyllic building. Nestled in the grounds of approx. 2 acres of beautiful parkland, surrounded by many majestic, mature trees for the children to appreciate as the seasons change, yet just a private driveway away from a local commuting route to Leeds and Bradford providing easy access for Parents.
...What was once a derelict, former care home (The Knoll Care Home) on abandoned grounds, has now been transformed into a beautiful haven of Excitement & Discovery for our children to enjoy and also for their parents to appreciate .Set in a stone Victorian Mansion, the Nursery has being renovated to the highest standard and no expense spared in creating a truly exceptional provision with superior attention to detail. Since we opened our doors in May 2014, we have built up an outstanding reputation for the quality of our childcare and education, and are constantly striving to go that extra mile to create that magical childhood which every child deserves. We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years between the hours of 7:30 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. We have worked hard to create an inclusive environment where each child's overall developmental needs are recognised and met, and where children can feel safe, loved and encouraged to develop to their full potential. We offer enriching experiences to all ages of our children, where their learning can be nurtured in the natural surroundings. Here at Woodlands Park Learning comes alive, creating memories children will treasure for a lifetime. Our Ethos:
It is our aim to inspire children of any age through positive outdoor experiences and provide them with the opportunity to appreciate the wider world .Our Primary aim is to ensure the happiness, well-being and holistic development of the children in our care. Our main focus is on the great outdoors as echoed in the Forest Schools Ethos. We encourage all our children to learn and discover the benefits of growing, making, planting and caring for the world we live in. We provide a variety of resources to enable our Children to flourish and explore the natural environment and the nature which lives within. Our Site is home to Squirrels, Owls and a vast variety of birds and wildlife which we want to educate our children about and allow them to share their beauty. We want to teach our children how to care and respect the natural environment around us. It has been reported that the rarest sight in the British countryside these days is "Children" - which is such a sad report, however, in this busy , hectic economy we live in , we understand that most parents just do not always get the chance to take their children out as much as they would like to. There are so many factors which stand in the way of enjoying "quality" time with our children, and most at no expense. We want to change this for our Children and give each child, in our care, the opportunity to blossom and enjoy nature and hopefully encourage a healthy, long lasting love of being outside. Beginning with small activities such as conker picking, bark rubbings, nature trails, den making to creative arts in open spaces, kite flying, gardening, and caring for animals and poultry - we want to give our children the very best start in life. We strongly believe that each child is gifted, and we'd love to give them this opportunity to shine. The relationships that we develop with parents and guardians are extremely important to us. We understand that it's not easy to leave a child in day care and we work hard to ensure that parents feel reassured by our attention to high quality practice and our commitment to childrenโs physical and emotional security. Our nursery educators and practitioners are keen to share knowledge and ideas with parents. We believe that it is important to celebrate with parents their key childrenโs achievements, no matter how small. We appreciate the support that we receive from parents and are happy to put the knowledge and experience of our professionally trained staff at their disposal, as children go through their natural stages of development.
