Some of the things we have enjoyed this week.

Exploring nature treasures with our spotting sheets.

Making conker caterpillars, these were tricky for little fingers but they did it!

At Playgroup we painted hedgehogs (and for one of us our arms!) and we used some spaghetti to add spikes to our play dough Hedgehog bodies.

On our walks as well as spotting the change in season, we have also been spotting Rectangles. There are so many when you start looking.

We also spotted the poster for the circus which is visiting this month. Very exciting! 🎪🤡🤹🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️

This week we enjoyed a visit to the farm. We had lots of fun looking at the different animals and befriended a cheeky goat that had escaped and wanted to join us on our adventure

We have also been learning the names of different shapes and will be continuing this next week with a shape walk 🔺🟪🔵🔶

This week whilst we have been out we have been looking at the changing colours of the leaves and noticing snails, spiders and ladybirds on the walls. We celebrated a special 3rd Birthday with a trip to the play centre. Lots of climbing, jumping into the ball pool and dancing at the mini disco. We also had lots of fun at Playgroup seeing our friends.

Gruffalo Granny has also been read numerous times! 🥰

Nicola was very excited to share this book today. Who doesn't love the Gruffalo, the Gruffalo's Child and now we have Granny ❤️

Given I have been asked to read it 4 times already this afternoon I think the children have enjoyed it too.

This week we have enjoyed exploring our community spaces with visits to the park, library and local nature reserve. Back at Nicola's we have been choosing activities that interest us and encourage us to play cooperatively with each other. Learning that we all have different interests and ideas.

One of our friends had their first day at nursery and went in happy and confident. It was so lovely to hear everything they enjoyed during their first day. 🌟💙

First week of the new Autumn term ☑️
What a great first week back. We have welcomed two new friends to Nicola's house who have settled in amazingly 🌟🌟 and the children who returned bounced back in with smiles on their faces 😁 and so much to tell me! 🥰
This first couple of weeks we will be getting to know each other and settling into our routines.

Feedback received: "one very happy boy" and "the best day .... ever"
= one happy Childminder! ❤️

6 sleeps and we are back! 🥰

I have had a fabulous Summer celebrating my special birthday 🎉 (21 again! 😜)

Now the celebrations are over I am looking forward to welcoming everyone for the Autumn Term. We will also be welcoming two new friends who I am sure will settle in perfectly. Looking forward to a cosy Autumn full of exploration, outings and activities.

A fun filled last two weeks of term making memories.

We have said goodbye and good luck to one of our little friends as they move onto their next learning adventure 💙 (this has to be the hardest part of my job! 😢)
