On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome six fantastic volunteers from a range of industries to deliver two Careers Panels for our Year 7 and Year 9 students.

With 320 students taking part, the sessions provided a valuable opportunity to hear first-hand experiences, gain insights into different career paths and ask thoughtful, thought-provoking questions about the world of work. 🌟

A huge thank you to Ahead Partnership for organising this fantastic opportunity✨

👏 Thank you to our volunteers representing:

🔹 BrandSafway

🖤💜 BLACK HISTORY MONTH | OCTOBER 2026

This October, we celebrate Black History Month and this year’s theme, “Honouring Our Communities.”

At Tong Leadership Academy, we recognise and celebrate the people, stories, achievements and contributions that have helped shape our communities and our country.

From history and culture to education, leadership, creativity, sport and everyday acts of service — Black history is part of Britain’s past, present and future.

🌟 Learn. Celebrate. Recognise. Inspire.

Together, we can ensure every story is heard, every contribution is valued and every young person can see a future full of possibility. 💜

A Brighter Future Together.

📖💜 National Poetry Day | 1 October

Today we celebrate National Poetry Day, with this year’s theme of “Wonder.”

Poetry gives us a chance to imagine, explore, express and see the world differently. ✨

At Tong Leadership Academy, we’re celebrating the power of words and the creativity of our young people ,because everyone has a voice, a story and something to say.

📝 Read it. Write it. Perform it. Share it.
🌟 Find the wonder in words.
