Tomorrow is our last Jumping Day of the Summer and the Final of the Summer Showjumping League - This is how the points currently stand… who will take the league titles?! Good luck everyone 🤞🐴 ❤️

With the weather going to be extremely hot today ☀️lessons will still be going ahead but will be going a little bit steadier.

Your instructor will help you work on things like no stirrups to help with balance and position, assault courses to help with steering and controls and coordination.

If at a suitable level you might also get to have a go riding ba****ck ( without a saddle) or have a go at some lateral work like turn on the forehand and leg yielding.

We can also offer the opportunity to have a go at stable management lesson instead of riding lesson if you feel it’s getting too hot for you to ride but you would still like some pony time. You can learn about grooming and have a go at bathing 🐴🧽🪣

Whatever you choose we can still have fun and learn with the horses and ponies. Please remember to wear suitable clothing for your lesson, no shorts, skirts or dresses. Don’t forgot your suncream and a drink to keep you hydrated.

All the kids did very well and had lots of fun, having a go at polework and jumping position in the morning and then progressed onto jumps in the afternoon

Bobby and Buster also got given a pamper and a makeover, Bobby got transformed into an Alien and Buster got to be a unicorn 🦄 🐴 👽

Dressage Day 🐴

Riders enjoyed a morning of learning about dressage, practising the test on foot before their riding lesson. They worked on the trickiest parts of the test to get themselves ready for the competition.

After lunch they groomed and plaited their horses. Then it was dressage test time! All the riders did an amazing job and showed a good relationship with their horses.

Then we spent some time grooming and pampering Hugo and Tilly, who really enjoyed their scratches!
