On Sunday, Hard to BEaT took on the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival in support of Bradford Hospitals Charity.

I'm incredibly proud to say we finished 18th out of 29 teams – a huge improvement on last year's 31st out of 33! 💪 We got faster with every race and, most importantly, managed to stay the right way up all day 😅

While race day is over, our fundraising isn't. We're still short of our target, so if you've been meaning to sponsor us, there's still time to make a difference.

🚴 Congratulations to our Clinical Educator, Sam, on completing an incredible fundraising challenge!

Over just two days, Sam cycled an amazing 254 miles from Leeds to Liverpool and back again along the canal - all during this week’s heatwave! 🌞

Sam took on this challenge to raise funds for Bradford Hospitals Charity’s Home from Home Appeal, which will help provide accommodation close to the hospital for parents with babies receiving care on the Neonatal Unit.

We’re incredibly proud of Sam’s determination and commitment through this fantastic fundraising effort.

Congratulations Nazia on acheiving your Care Certificate

On 5th July, our team Hard to BEaT will be taking part in the Dragon Boat Festival to raise money for Bradford Hospitals Charity — a charity that does incredible work supporting patients, families and staff across our hospitals 💙

We’ve got our training session this week with the Yorkshire Sharks Dragonboat Club, and we’re really excited (and maybe a little nervous!) to get out on the water!

However… we still need your help 🙏

At the moment, we haven’t yet raised enough to cover the cost of our entry into the festival — which means the charity is still out of pocket. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us reach our target and make sure the charity truly benefits from the event.
