The children have really enjoyed creating marks with the chalks and the paintbrushes.
They enjoyed taking turns and sharing the resources.
They watched the water marks dry and enjoyed creating many more.😀

Everyone is welcome to come into nursery to have their Summer photos taken, please see a staff member to book a time slot if your child doesn’t attend on a Thursday.

The children have had great fun doing some planting.
They enjoyed looking at the packets of seeds and talking about the different flowers that will grow.
They listened carefully when we discussed what the seeds will need to grow.
Well done 😀

Bluebells and Sunflowers enjoyed creating flowers, using the construct a flower blocks and felt flowers.
They enjoyed balancing the different blocks and they choosing the colours of the flowers they wanted to use.
They listened well when the staff named the different shapes and a few confidently named the shapes - triangle, square.
They counted how many flowers were on their plant and on their friends.
Well done 😀

Buttercups loved making their marks on the paper with the different coloured paint and the cars.
They enjoyed moving the cars in different ways and seeing the lines on the paper.
Well done Buttercups 😀😀

The children enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year.
They had great fun making lanterns, and enjoyed seeing their lantern hung in the window.
They enjoyed playing with the play food and enjoyed talking about the different food they eat at home.
