Green Lane Primary School

Green Lane Primary School At Green Lane our children thrive in a happy, safe and purposeful environment. At the heart of our school is a strong partnership with parents.

We encourage a love of learning; we all work hard together and we welcome new challenges. Our goal is to ensure we have a learning community where all feel they can achieve, manage risks, aspire and achieve their highest expectations. We aim to ensure that each individual has the skills and knowledge to succeed in an ever-changing world by being a 'life-long GL Learner.'

Our pupils are polite, considerate and enthusiastic about their learning. All 682 of them show a willingness to overcome any barriers they might face in laying the foundations for a successful future. We celebrate and learn with our families sharing assemblies, Showcases, workshops and visits. We believe we have a duty to equip our children for life beyond primary school – in school, out of school and after school our children's learning matters. Our inclusive GL Curriculum is designed to broaden horizons, enthuse and inspire; to maximise every learning opportunity. Our strong focus on English and Maths skills, outdoor education and visits enables us to bring the curriculum to life. A variety of after school clubs and activities provide a range of exciting additional opportunities for all to succeed. Our success is in the expertise of our staff. I lead a highly committed and talented group of people who go above and beyond on a daily basis. The gravity of our responsibility to our children can never be underestimated. We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
