Rocking Horses & Spinning Tops have been getting hands-on and exploring the wonderful world of squidgy sand, a featured activity on the 50 Things to Do Before You’re 5 app!
Using their imaginations and a variety of tools, including buckets, spades, moulds and scoops, the children have enjoyed digging, filling, pouring and creating. This sensory experience encourages creativity, fine motor skills and exploration while providing lots of opportunities for fun and messy play!

At Broomfield Private Day Nursery, Clayton, Bradford, we are delighted to offer a warm, caring and stimulating environment for children from birth to 5 years, as well as an Out of School Club for children aged 5–11 years.
We currently have limited places available, so if you are looking for a welcoming nursery where your child can learn, play, grow and make special memories, we would love to hear from you! 💕
We also offer Government-funded childcare, including 15 hours for eligible children and up to 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible working families.

🌳 50 Things to do before you're 5 #27 - Little People Park Keeper. 🌼

Today, a group of little explorers embarked on a delightful adventure to the park! 🌞 In line with our goal of checking off “50 Things to Do Before You’re Five,” we proudly tackled #27 - Little People Park Keeper.

Then came the best part — exploring the play equipment! Our babies loved every minute: feeling the gentle swing as they glide back and forth 🪁, giggling all the way down the smooth slides, touching and climbing safely, and discovering new textures and movements. So much joy, curiosity and happy little smiles! 😊✨
It was beautiful to watch them explore, build their confidence, and learn how to care for the world around them — all in fresh air and sunshine.

From turning the pages and looking at the colourful pictures to listening to stories and sharing special moments with their practitioners, books provide wonderful opportunities to develop communication, language, attention and listening skills, while encouraging a lifelong love of reading. ❤️

It was lovely to see the babies showing curiosity and excitement as they explored their books and enjoyed this special time together. 🌟📚
