For any parent who has missed this in the email, on class dojo or tapestry or on the website! π
Return to School March 8th β Information for Parents Dear Parents/Carers,
If this will help your family, please make use of this offer. It could just take the pressure off you a little.
If you are worrying how you will afford food over the February half term and/or if your child gets free school meals, Shipley Christians Together is putting together healthy, nutritional meal boxes which will contain enough food for 5 breakfasts and 5 main meals for each person in your household. Households will be able to collect a meal box from a hub in central Shipley, or if you would struggle to collect it they can deliver it to your house (socially distanced etc). To arrange this confidentially, call or text 07423 575473, email [email protected] or send a private message on Facebook via the page www.fb.com/shipleyholidayfood The inboxes and phone will be monitored from 9am-noon from now until Feb 21st - if you leave a message outside these times someone will get back to you. The funding for the boxes has been provided by Bradford Council.

LIVE LEARNING SUCCESS!
I just popped onto Year 2's live maths session and I was blown away by the children and staff. There was great teaching, resources shared and children listening and asking questions, waiting their turn, muting and unmuting themselves. Wow! Well done to all involved in that session.
I know we have had similar across school and today is only the first 'live' day. ππππ
I am always proud of our school but this week I am prouder than ever of how our staff have worked together as a team to keep children learning this week and to get a great 'school at home' offer ready for Monday. Packs of resources the children will need to help with their live lessons and books to work in are mostly delivered, and an overview letter with various guides will be sent over the weekend.
The first full week of timetable will be a bit trial and error as staff, parents and children get to grips with the higher expectations set by the government, but it has been lovely to see parents supporting other parents and everyone working together.
Well done everyone for this week and it will be lovely to actually see children this time during lockdown!
Stay safe!
