This is believed to be the first multimedia songbook of its kind. Guardian Hare Tales pairs original prose mythology with a full album of companion ballads, integrated through QR codes printed in the book itself. Each tale has two forms: the chronicle you read and the song you hear. Readers can scan and stream instantly, free, as many times as they like. No app required, no paywall, no gimmicks. The music lives online, the stories live on the page, and together they create something that sits between audiobook and album, between literature and folk tradition. Old stories told the way they were meant to be: sung around the fire, then written down for those who come after.
Get your phone out and scan the QR code to see if you like this new concept in the living work of oral tradition.
And as always, share this post and tag friends. You know me, I'll be giving away 2 copies free in the new year.

Katie Burton Sharon Katrina Sarah Britt . Well done. Or commiserations 🙂 You’ve won a copy of my latest madness for Christmas. Please PM me your full address so I can post it to you. It’s unlikely to land with Santa’s post, but it should reach you before the end of the holiday. Feeling disappointed? Feel free to have a look on Amazon if you wish and grab a copy regardless 🙂 Yes, shameless promotion, I know, but at £7.99 I promise I’m not getting rich doing this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Memory-Wire-Story-Captivity-Survival/dp/B0G4CV1RMX

If you’re hunting for something decent for the kids or the grandkids, Hazel’s new Redbeck Rabbit colouring book hits the mark. Proper rabbits with proper shapes. twentyfive pages of ears, paws and attitude for small hands to bring to life.
No screens. No noise. Just a hare in a doorway and a world they can colour any way they like. Ideal for stockings. Ideal for that quiet half hour when you need them settled and smiling.
Pick one up while Hazel’s still behaving. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Redbeck-Rabbit-Colouring-Book-Production/dp/B0G4JHH9C2/

Folk, you know how this works. A new book has rolled out and I’m giving a few away. Same drill. Like the post and tag three friends and share on you page for those who might enjoy a dose of Redbeck madness.

This one’s an odd creature. A sort of sequel to Watership Down, though the rabbit never gets the glory of open fields. It starts in a breeding facility. Concrete. Steel. The hum of machinery and the dread that settles into the walls. My first step into non-fiction. No gloss. No sentiment. Just the truth of where these animals begin before anyone writes them into fables.

If that sounds like your sort of trouble, step in.
