Mobeen Hussain for Queensbury
Hi, I'm Mobeen, your Labour candidate in the 2024 Local Elections.
I'm a teacher, local business owner and founder of a charity based right in the heart of Queensbury.
Queensbury is my home, it's where my kids go to school and I am someone who already works tirelessly for our community.
I have seen the great work Cllr Hazel Johnson & Cllr Alex Mitchell have been doing for our community and I'm excited about joining a local team who work hard for all residents of Queensbury Ward.
With your support we can have three Labour Councillors who work as a team with the council to push the agenda of keeping Queensbury a great place to live and work.

During these tough times here at GDPR we have worked tierlesly with professionals to help bridge the gap in knowledge created by the pandemic and lockdown and aid parents with home learning and teaching - assessing phonics, I have worked with fellow teachers and created a phonics toolkit. This is just the beginning!
This follows the government's phonics programme and is suitable for children up until the end of reception.
It covers phonics phases 2-4 which all children should know by the end of reception.
The pack includes:
Phase 2 sounds, high frequency words and tricky words.
Phase 3 sounds, high frequency words and tricky words.
Phase 4 words, high frequency words and tricky words.
Say it, make it, write it template.
Phoneme frame.
Dry wipe pocket.
Guidance sheet.
Key terminology sheet
Letter formation whiteboard and pen, board is plain on the other side, good for practicing words, writing etc.
