After a little glitch, we are back! Year 6 are currently busy on their night walk. They are having a wonderful time and are wearing themselves out ready for a good night's sleep! 🥰

Celebrating success for teachers Mrs Roberts and Mr Rhodes who both passed their National Professional Qualification in Leading Literacy and Senior Leadership, further strengthening our teaching capacity at Blakehill. The hard work has paid off!

We love Mondays at Blakehill. Celebrating achievement, progress, interests, attendance and core values. Well done to each and every child that we celebrated during this week’s Celebration Assembly. We are proud of you all.

Thank you to everybody who sent donations for Bradford Food Bank. Their volunteers came to collect them today and were amazed at how much we had collected.

Rainbow Room Fun!
I think the photos speak for themselves. Exploring through sensory play is something we do every week.
Even something as simple as shredded paper can create an afternoon of learning, laughter and fun!

We have loved receiving the photos of the bread KS2 have made using the Kitty's Kits.
KS1 will receive their kits next week.

Fantastic evening of Bench Ball at Hanson Academy. Our boys demonstrated excellent teamwork & ball skills. A number of children represented Blakehill for the first time.

💙🩵 Active Together 💙🩵

Wonderful opening evening of our new Active Together Session.
Active together is a new school-based activity designed to support pupils with special educational needs & disabilities. These sessions aim to provide a safe, nurturing & inclusive environment where children can enjoy physical activity at their own pace while developing confidence, communication skills & positive social interactions.
