Well Splendid September did not last long! What a whirlwind month it has been! For most of the learners they have settled back into the Tutor School after a break over the Summer holidays and we are all back running in our sessions. We have some new faces who joined us from the Summer and have really enjoyed the start of the new academic year 🙂

Some of our Year 6 learners completed their 11+ exams this month ⭐️ Showing so much perseverance, resilience and conscientiousness, we wish them all EVERY success when they receive their reaults but we are undoubtedly so proud of you ALL!🤞

We have started our new online SATS group and 11+ group to support the children completing these exams in the year ahead. These groups change throughout the year so can be joined at any time! Please contact Tanya on Facebook Messenger if you would like to register you children for either of these online support groups 🙂

After a Splendid September and a GREAT start to the year, we are VERY excited for Optimistic October and cannot wait to see what the children achieve this month 🙂

ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT until we start our SATS Booster Tuition Group at TLS Tutoring Solutions!!🙂
We usually start this group at Christmas but some parents last year said they would have preferred to have started in September so we have taken that on board and after giving the children a few weeks to settle into year 6, we are starting the Booster Tuition Sessions NEXT WEDNESDAY🙂
As this is an online group, it is cheaper than 1:1 tuition AND it is open to those who cannot get to the Tutor School and can be accessed from anywhere in Bradford or anywhere else -in the world! (We had one amazing learner last year who completed some of his sessions from his Haven holiday site and another who completed her sessions between her own house and Grandma’s house, depending on where she was at the time!)🙂
Please see the poster for the many benefits of the group and what we offer. We are starting the group NEXT WEDNESDAY (25.9.24). We offer a FREE initial meeting before the sessions start so your child can meet the Tutor 1:1 and ask any questions they may have and the Tutor is also able to assess your child before the group sessions begin. Availability for these sessions is now very limited 🙂

It’s the first week of the new school year and after Super Summer School in Awesome August we are SO excited to be opening our doors again today to kick off Splendid September! 🙂

We had some premature excitement at the weekend! … The butterflies could not WAIT until Monday and emerged beautifully last week so we released them at the weekend…Learning is all about growth and change and these beautiful butterflies have already started their September journey! 🦋

We have LOTS to look forward to this month…new beginnings, new families have joined us…new experiences and skills WILL be acquired/embedded…SATS booster group for Year 6 starting at the end of the month (registration starts TODAY)…and so much more! 🙂

We have all worked so hard, it is now time to sleep for a little while…The Tutor School is now closed and will reopen on Monday 2nd September at 9am.

Today has been a beautiful finish to our Summer School tuition. A massive WELLDONE to all of the learners involved! It has been lovely keeping in touch with some of our existing learners and just as lovely meeting new ones. They have all been absolute stars and we are so proud of them! It’s been a great opportunity for them to keep their brains ticking over the Summer holidays but we have also had lots of fun too! In September, we are starting a SATS online group because parental feedback last year suggested we started it in September not Christmas so we are! What a difference 2 and a half weeks at the Tutor School makes…learning and growing every day…all learning at different stages…on their journey from caterpillar to cocoon! 🐛👏

Meet Gary 🐛 ,Evelyn 🐛, Belle 🐛, Zendina 🐛 and Jonny 🐛 (named by our human learners today!) 🙂
We are looking forward to watching them flourish over the next few weeks! 🙂 They will form the stimulus for our writing development over Summer School and our returning learners in September will get to see them in their final stage until the find their wings and fly 🦋

Well that’s a wrap for TLS Tutoring Solutions until Summer School starts. We have officially closed today and will reopen on 1st August for Summer School…😎

It’s not long since we last shared our successes at the end of Joyeous June but Joyful July has definitely led us to a happy end! 🙂.

End of year reports have been a joy to read! The children have all worked so hard to get to where they are and we are so proud of not only their achievement but their determination, resilience, perseverance and motivation ⭐️

We are very sad though to see some of our SATS learners move on but also happy and immensely proud that they did so well and we wish them every success on their learning journey! ⭐️

For those who have broken up from school already…ENJOY your holiday…If you are breaking up this week, stand on your tiptoes and you can see the finish line! 🙂
