The remembrance of Allah

Fasting on this blessed day: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Fasting on the Day of Arafah is an expiation for the preceding year and the following year.”

Making abundant du‘a, especially from Dhuhr until Maghrib: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The best of supplication is the supplication of the Day of Arafah.”

Seeking protection from the Hellfire: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “There is no day on which Allah frees more of His servants from the Hellfire than the Day of Arafah.”

May Allah allow us to make the most of this blessed day, aid us in His worship and remembrance, and grant us ihsaan in all our acts of worship. Aameen.
