Resilience is such an important skill for children and young people to develop
It helps them bounce back when things don't go to plan, keep trying when something feels difficult, and build the confidence to take on new challenges

We know that resilience doesn't develop overnight. It's built through everyday experiences, encouragement, and opportunities to learn from setbacks

That's why we love this week's focus in Harold's 40 Acts of Kindness. Why not give some of the activities a try and help build resilience together as a family? ๐Ÿฆ’

๐Ÿšจ Preparing for Benedict's Law? ๐Ÿšจ

From September 2026, schools in England will be expected to:

- have a dedicated allergy safety policy
- provide allergy awareness training for staff
- hold spare adrenaline auto-injectors as part of their emergency preparedness arrangements

We're really proud that Coram SCARF has been part of the Allergy School partnership, working alongside The Natasha Foundation, The King's Foundation, St John Ambulance and Tesco Stronger Starts to help create resources that support schools in building confidence around allergy awareness

๐Ÿฆ’ The free Allergy School resources feature Harold the Giraffe and his friend Arlo the Armadillo, helping children aged 3โ€“11 learn about food allergies in engaging and age-appropriate ways

Resources have been designed to help children feel empowered, included and protected, while giving staff the confidence to create safer school environments

Best of all, they're free for all primary schools โ€“ whether or not they are SCARF subscribers.
