Missed my busy little crew today when I took a walk to the Community Garden but I took the opportunity to wander around and look at the beautiful flowers. It's such a beautiful place and so peaceful.

Annnnd relax.... Sunshine, coffee and a book. Good for the soul.

Another year comes to an end. Filled with lots of fun and adventures, laughter, a few tears, lots of hellos to new children, and a couple of heartfelt goodbyes.

Thank you to all of my wonderful families for your support, thoughtful gifts, and the incredibly kind words in your cards. Your kindness is truly appreciated.

A quieter day today with only one little one so a lovely walk in the sunshine and then exploring the nature reserve. We spotted lots of swans, geese and ducks, lots of dogs and lots of people riding bikes!

The goodbyes never get any easier. These two little loves are moving onto the next chapter in their early years journey. Both have been with me since they were babies. It has been a privilege to care for them and encourage them as they've grown and developed and it is always so lovely to see each child's own personality develop over time. I will miss them both with their amazing sense of humour and infectious giggles. Wherever the future takes them I wish them nothing but the best!

Fresh air, beautiful surroundings and lots of space to run, what could be better!

We enjoyed a lovely morning at . A beautiful space for children to play and explore. It was our first visit but I don't think it will be our last!

It's quite unusual for me to only have one little one in but some of the children are still on half term. An unsettled night made for a sleepy baby so we headed off for a wander with the little one in the pushchair. It became quite a wet walk but there was something very relaxing about the sound of the rain on the trees and pitter pattering on the canal. I always feel very grateful that we have such beautiful scenery within walking distance of my house!

There's something very special about seeing one of the children you used to care for making instant friends with one of the children you currently care for. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is the long lasting relationships I've gained with some of the families of children I've cared for and it is always so wonderful to catch up and see how the children are growing and watching their little personalities shine through.

Another fabulous Friday morning spent with ! The Chicken Dance, Chopping food and taking a ride on a "Choo choo" train to explore the 'ch' sound. The children were very engaged, watching what was going on and enjoying playing.
