If you only catch one Jazz trio gig this year, make it Jason Rebello. His use of prepared piano is inspirational and he is one of the few pianists who effectively uses the soft pedal and sostenuto pedal. A second reason to catch the trio is his superb bass player Yuri Golubev. Thanks for a great concert tonight
