As we reach the end of another school year, we just want to say a big thank you to everyone. To you, our families for working with us to support your children. And to the staff who give their all, every single day: teachers, teaching assistants, librarian, admin team, site team, lunch team, cleaning team, catering team, Beehive, external clubs and those who have volunteered - the children at King's Academy Meadow Vale thrive because we all show up and care so deeply. We also wish our year six pupils all the best on their next adventure. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of your lives 💚

King's Academy Meadow Vale has been awarded the English Hubs Sustained Excellence Award in recognition of our continued commitment to high-quality phonics and early reading.

This award reflects the incredible dedication of our staff, who work hard every day to ensure every child has the best possible start to their reading journey. From carefully planned phonics lessons and targeted support to creating a love of reading across the school, this achievement is a testament to their passion and commitment.

We are incredibly proud of what our staff have achieved and would like to thank our families for their ongoing support. Together, we are helping our children become confident, enthusiastic and successful readers.

Reception had a fantastic time at Bocketts Farm Park! After a visit to the barn, small animal encounters, a tractor ride, piglet races and lots of water breaks, the children made the most of their time at the playbarn.

Yesterday, year 5 and 6 had the opportunity to attend oasis sessions run by volunteers from local churches. It provided the children a moment of calm and reflection on the year as well as the upcoming changes ahead of them. They all particularly enjoyed sitting in the hugging chair to have a moment of peace.

Thank you to Judy and all the volunteers for providing our children with this wonderful session!
