🏀🇬🇧 A fantastic achievement for Josh!

We are incredibly proud of Year 13 student Josh, who has had an exciting summer representing England in wheelchair basketball.

Josh was selected from the England U18 pathway to represent England Boys Green in the wheelchair basketball 3x3 competition at the School Games at Loughborough University. Playing alongside teammates Connor, Manny and Saul, the team took on some of the best young athletes from across the UK.

Although the team usually plays the full-court 5v5 format and had limited experience of 3x3, they settled into the competition brilliantly and finished an impressive 5th place, rounding off the tournament with a fantastic 15–0 victory over Northern Ireland! 👏

Josh also represented England U18 South in wheelchair basketball at the Home Nations Cup in Nottingham at the beginning of the school holidays.

What an incredible experience and achievement, Josh. We are so proud to see you representing England and competing at such a high level. Well done! 👏🏀🇬🇧

🎭 Open Auditions: Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr! 🧜‍♀️✨

A fantastic opportunity for young performers! R.A.P. Productions Youth Theatre are holding open auditions for their upcoming production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.

📅 Thursday 1 October
📍 South Hill Park, Bracknell
⏰ 5.00–6.00pm – 8–12 years
⏰ 6.00–7.00pm – 13–18 years

There’s nothing to prepare — simply arrive, book in and audition. 🎶

The production will take place at The Wilde Theatre, South Hill Park, from 4–6 February 2027.

A further audition session is also being held on Sunday 4 October.

It has been wonderful to welcome all our students back after the summer break. They arrived looking smart, well-presented and ready for the new school year, and it has been brilliant to see such a positive start to the day.

🌟 What a fantastic start to the new school year! 🌟

Our Year 7 students have made a brilliant start to their very first day at KAEP! They lined up beautifully for roll call, listened respectfully during their first assembly and have been moving around the school for their morning lessons quietly, sensibly and confidently. 👏

It has been wonderful to see them settling into their new routines so quickly and showing such maturity. We are incredibly proud of them!

Our Year 12 students have also made a great start, settling into sixth form life and getting to grips with their new routines and responsibilities. 📚✨

A huge well done to both year groups — you have made an excellent first impression! We’re looking forward to seeing all that you achieve during your time at KAEP. 💙

🎉 Welcome to KAEP, Year 7 & Year 12! 🎉

The wait is almost over! We are incredibly excited to welcome our new Year 7 and Year 12 students to KAEP tomorrow, Wednesday 2 September, for the start of the new academic year. 💙

For our Year 7 students, tomorrow marks the very beginning of their KAEP journey as they start secondary school and become part of our school community. For our Year 12 students, it marks the start of an exciting new chapter as they begin their sixth form journey, following their time with us in Year 11.

We can’t wait to see you all and are looking forward to a fantastic first day!

📚 Year 7 – First Day Reminder

Year 7 students should arrive ready for roll call at 8:35am.

Please make sure you arrive in full, correct school uniform:

👞 Black, polishable school shoes – trainers are not permitted
👖 Boys: Black tailored trousers
👗 Girls: Black tailored trousers or the KAEP pleated tartan skirt
👔 Blue long- or short-sleeved collared shirt
🎀 School tie and blazer
💎 Jewellery: One pair of small, plain gold or silver studs in the ears is permitted
💇 Hair: Must be a natural colour

💧 Don’t forget your water bottle! Please bring a water bottle with you so you can stay hydrated throughout the day.

To our new Year 7s, we hope you’re feeling excited about beginning your KAEP journey – we are so looking forward to welcoming you through our doors!

And to our Year 12s, we’re delighted to see you take this next step into sixth form and can’t wait to see what the year ahead brings.
