We won't be stopped by the rain - entrance will be through Gold Hall doors - see you all there!

Good evening all,

As the weather is looking a bit rubbish tomorrow so we have decided to hold the fair inside the school,
- Entrance will be though gold Hall,
- We have games and stalls in the main hall, side rooms and the gym.
- Bbq will now be an oven Q 😆,
- We will also have some of our choir singing for us in the main hall at 1:45ish.
- Main Raffle will be called at 3:45pm

To celebrate International Women's Day 2026 we asked our Headteachers to nominate an inspiring woman and will be sharing their nominations this week.

Mr Ferris has nominated Mrs York, Deputy Headteacher at Great Hollands Primary School.

"Mrs York is a strong and inspiring leader who consistently strives to support everyone around her. She is deeply dedicated to educational excellence and goes above and beyond to ensure the success of her team and students. Through her integrity, commitment, and collaborative spirit, she has earned the trust and respect of all her colleagues. Her leadership and dedication make her truly deserving of recognition on International Women’s Day."

Mr Ferris would like others to know:

'That her support has helped others grow in confidence and capability.

We’re delighted to share that Great Hollands Primary School has received an extremely positive Ofsted inspection outcome following its recent inspection under the new Ofsted framework.

Inspectors described a school where pupils feel safe, supported and included:

“Pupils enjoy coming to this happy and welcoming school.”

“Pupils behave very well. Their attitude towards learning is commendable.”

The inspection highlighted positive practice across attendance and behaviour, inclusion, leadership and governance, and personal development and well-being.

Happy New Year to all our students, staff and families 🥳
