🕺🎶 From the groovy 70’s to the fabulous 90’s and beyond, our school was transformed for our 50th Anniversary Decades Day! The children wowed us with their brilliant costumes, danced and paraded to music from across the years, and helped us celebrate with a delicious birthday cake. What a wonderful day of fun, memories and community spirit as we marked 50 amazing years! 🎂🥳

MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) has now launched at Birch Hill Primary School.

Parents and carers should have received an email with everything you need to get started, including how to activate your account. If you haven't seen it yet, please check your inbox (and your junk or spam folder).

To help you get started, we've also shared a short video guide showing you how to update your details in MCAS.

Over the coming weeks, we'll also be sharing further video guides covering:

- Booking school meals
- Topping up dinner money
- Giving consent for school trips

School Dinners at Your Fingertips 🍽️

As part of Birch Hill Primary School's introduction of MCAS (MyChildAtSchool), one of the first features available to parents and carers from 29 June will be our new school dinner booking system.

MCAS will make it easier to manage school meals by allowing you to:

✅ Book meals quickly and securely

✅ View meal choices

✅ Manage bookings in one place

✅ Access information at a time that suits you

Simple, convenient and designed to help you stay connected with your child's school life.

Our 50th Anniversary Summer Fete promises to be a fantastic afternoon of fun, laughter, and community spirit. Bring your family and friends along to enjoy games, refreshments, entertainment, stalls, and plenty of special memories as we mark this important milestone together.

Something new is coming to Birch Hill...

From 29 June, we’re excited to launch MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) – our new parent portal designed to help you stay connected and informed about your child’s school life, with all the info you need in in one place.

MCAS will make it easier for parents and carers to access key info, keep up to date with important news, and stay in touch with the school.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about what MCAS can do and how to get started, so you feel confident using it from day one.
