As I sit reading cards and letters from our families I am taking this opportunity to reflect on this year at The Pines. I am so proud of our school and the community we have created. As I was scrolling through Facebook this morning I stumbled on a post about how schools feel when you walk into them. Every visitor who walks through our doors always talks about the “feel”! I sometimes wish I could bottle it! This does not happen by chance- it has happened over time, creating a team who care deeply about every child, building trust with the community and knowing that at times we may disagree but we all still hold children at the heart of our decisions. I am so very grateful to be in the headteacher of our wonderful school. I am so grateful for my amazing team, our fantastic parents and carers, governors and most of all our children. I hope you all get to rest over the summer as there is always more work to do- and I can’t wait to see what next year holds!
