Last weekend I wrote cards to all the children I’ve been working with... (Some who I’ve never ‘met’ apart from on a screen) to wish them good luck going back to school. Can’t wait to hear how it’s been going for all of them!

New (academic) Years Resolution... must post more on insta! It’s been a weird Summer working online... but I’ve loved it. Looking forward to getting back to some face to face sessions next week too.
But for now... making phonics memorable!

Missing using my magnetic letters in real life. But finding the virtual ones work just as well!

Getting used to online tutoring now! This one is working really hard using the interactive whiteboard on bitpaper. It’s brilliant and so easy to use. Missing seeing everyone face to face but this is a great solution at the moment.

All the fabulous pm books organised and ready to go. These are full of high frequency as well as decodeable words, written to encourage fluency and tell a real story. From reception to Year 6 level. I find them so useful for 1:1.
