INTERNATIONAL PLAY ICELAND - October 2026!

This is a really unique trip and one I always look forward to being invited back to.

It is an opportunity to visit various settings in Iceland and then spend quality time discussing what you have seen with other early childhood professionals.

This study trip is not about a 'promise' to see outstanding early years practice. For me it is about the opportunity to observe, reflect, challenge and be challenged in a really positive and supportive environment, which helps our knowledge and practice to grow.

Plus some sightseeing, Icelandic culture, loads of food and really good fun!

A Chance to Reflect and Learn in Iceland A six-day life changer if you work or live for the Early Years 11th to 16th October 2026 Iceland, with its 400k population and a country the same size as England has a different kind of breath. It is a society that cares, so provides a space and place where children are encouraged not directed.

And we are now officially exporting to Iceland! 100 pieces of furniture went to Rotterdam - then to Reykjavik and now ensconced here:

"We are loving the items and I already want to order more :)

I think the long tables (foldable) are perfect for our dining hall and would like 4 more of them (in the foreseeable future). Is there any possibility to make the legs a little bit higher? 5 cm or so?
Also I think it would be amazing to attach some sort of lock or mechanism to seal the table in upright position (if you understand).

We LOVE LOVE LOVE the BB Stools and I dream of having way more of them!

I'll have a talk with my boss and see if we have any funds left to get that going.

..and just to let you know - I want MANY more items..!!
