Just a quick update for everyone.
As many of you know, yesterday I had an operation in the hope of improving my hearing after living with partial deafness and tinnitus for most of my life. Which probably explains why I never hear anyone complaining while youโre working hard! ๐
Unfortunately, the operation didnโt quite go to plan with a major complication and Iโm currently still in Hospital on strict bed rest while I heal.
Iโve been told I need at least 2-4 weeks away from work and complete bed rest with zero straining. Anyone who knows me will know sitting still for five minutes is a challenge, but for once I need to do exactly as Iโm told!
I hate being away from my clients and classes, but I appreciate everyoneโs patience, understanding and support while I focus on getting fully recovered and back doing what I love.

It actually took me 6 months to even book my first session I was nervous, a 56-year-old menopausal woman, overweight, unhealthy and dealing with chronic pain. Iโd been struggling with pelvic pain since 2010, shoulder pain since 2021, and was later diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
From day one, Lee never judged me. He listened, adapted every session to how I was feeling, and built me up slowly with the right balance of support and push. Some days that meant going lighter, other days pushing me just enough to progress.
By December 2025 something clicked I wanted to lose weight and feel healthier. Leeโs guided me every step of the way, from training to simple nutrition habits (and constantly reminding me to drink more water! ๐คฃ).
Have I lost all the weight yet? No. Am I super fit? No.
But Iโm no longer stuck on the sofa feeling sorry for myself.
Iโm moving, Iโm stronger, Iโm still working part-time, and I can enjoy time with my grandchildren.
Honestly, if I hadnโt met Lee, I donโt think Iโd be where I am today.

I then moved on to one-to-one PT sessions in his fully equipped gym, which I love as itโs not intimidating like a big commercial gym. Everything is tailored to you, Lee creates programmes to suit each client, and he is supportive, friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable.
Due to a change in my circumstances, I can now train in the daytime, and sometimes we use that time for walks. Lee mixes up the routes with hills and flat sections, and we work on trying to beat previous times, which is great motivation.
