✈️ £7,500 flying scholarships available for 2027!
The Coachmakers’ Leatherland Flying Scholarships are now open for applications, offering four awards worth £7,500 each to help young people take their first steps towards a PPL.
Open to applicants aged 17–30, the scholarships are designed to support leisure flying and personal development, with funding normally covering around 50% of the cost of the standard hours required for PPL training. No previous flying experience is needed, although a keen interest in aviation is essential.
✈️ Could you use yours to learn to fly a Tiger Moth?
At Cambridge Flying Group, based at Old Warden, we offer the opportunity to experience the unique challenge of flying a vintage Tiger Moth. If you’re successful in securing a scholarship, why not consider completing your training with us and discovering the joys of flying one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft?
