We’re so excited to announce that Lily Pad Day Nursery Woburn Sands opens on 7th September!

Our brand new nursery, inside the beautiful historic Shelton House, is getting ready to welcome our first children and families, and September 2026 places are already filling up.

If you’re looking for a nursery place in Woburn Sands or the surrounding area, now is the time to register. With just weeks to go until we open, we don’t want families to leave it too late and miss out on the sessions they need.

Space week in the Otters has included exploring galaxy’s! They have been learning about gravity and the collection of stars and dust that create these beautiful scenes. We then did an experiment to make our own with milk and food colouring, adding some oil for more movement ⭐

Lily Pad Graduation Day! 🌟

Yesterday we celebrated our Otters who are off to Big School with a graduation ceremony. They all did so well, sang some lovely songs and enjoyed celebrating with their friends, family and teachers.

We are so proud of all of our Otters children for the progress they’ve made and the journey they have had 🦦

A massive thank you to all the parents who were involved in the presents for staff. We are truly grateful for your kidness🤍

We love messy play, especially in our Butterflies Rooms! The children have been exploring different textures such as jelly and ice, using their fine motor skills to free frozen fruit or mix jelly together. 🧊 🎨

The children have been learning about lots of different insects recently! From Ladybirds to Stick Insects, they have learnt about different features and how to care for these. 🐞 🐜

We’re delighted to announce that Lily Pad Day Nursery is opening a second nursery in Woburn Sands, coming Summer 2026. 🏡 🌟

Nestled within the beautiful Grade II listed Shelton House, our new setting will combine the warmth, care and high quality early years education that families know and love, with a unique environment full of character and charm.

We’re incredibly excited to become part of the Woburn Sands community and create a nurturing space where children can thrive every day. 💚
