Jamie’s Farm delivers therapeutic, farm-based programmes for young people, empowering them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

We work in partnership with schools and youth organisations across England and Wales. Jamie’s Farm hosts farm-based residential and day visit programmes for young people. We do this in partnership with their schools and youth organisations at 7 locations across England and Wales. We welcome school groups and other organisations working with young people and families at our four farms across the country - Bath (HQ), Hereford, Monmouth and Lewes. We also have a city farm in Waterloo where we run a follow-up support programme and host events.

Today might bring excitement, relief, disappointment, pride, uncertainty, or a mix of all four. Whatever your GCSE results look like, remember that they are just one moment in your story, not the whole of it.

So, if you're receiving your GCSE results today, we hope you'll remember this: your grades do not define your worth, your character, or your future.

The resilience you've shown, the challenges you've overcome, and the person you're becoming matter too.

At Jamie's Farm, we see every day that young people are capable of so much more than what can be captured on a piece of paper.

And for parents, carers, teachers and trusted adults, today is a chance to remind the young people in your life that they are valued, whatever the outcome.

Take a moment to celebrate the effort it took to get here. The journey ahead is still full of possibility. 💚

If you have a young person in your life getting their A-level results today, maybe the most important thing they need to know is that a grade does not define them.

Not every young person will be celebrating today, and not every young person will know what's to come next.

Whether today's results are what they hoped for or not, this moment is just one part of their story.

Grades can open some doors, but they don't define a person's worth or their potential.

Offer a relaxed conversation, or simply remind them that you're there for them - it can make all the difference.

Sometimes what feels like a setback can build resilience and lead us somewhere we never imagined.

Today's results are just one moment in a much bigger journey, and we're wishing every young person the best of luck.

Some of our most treasured memories aren’t the ones that cost the most.

This voice note shares an email we recently received from Zoe, who came to Jamie’s Farm back in 2012. More than a decade later, she still remembers the moments that made her feel connected, free and happy.

As the summer holidays roll on, it can become easy to feel pressured to fill every day with activities and expensive days out. But often the memories that stay with us are much simpler: time spent outdoors in nature, laughter with friends and family, trying something new and feeling a part of something bigger than ourselves.

This summer, why not make space for moments like these:

🌲Build a den in the woods or garden
🥾Explore somewhere new by bike or on foot
☁️Lie in the grass and watch the clouds – bonus if you can spot any animal shaped clouds!
🎨Get creative with things you find in nature
🍓Pick blackberries and make something with them

Today marks Lammas, an ancient festival celebrating the beginning of the harvest season.

On the farm, Lammas acts as a reminder for us to pause and appreciate what the land provides.

At Jamie’s Farm, young people play a hands-on role in that journey every day - planting seeds, tending to our kitchen gardens and caring for the animals. Whether it’s picking fruit and veg, or collecting eggs and feeding the animals, these simple moments help to build confidence and a sense of purpose in each young person.

This Lammas, we’re grateful for not only the harvest from our gardens, but the people, relationships and experiences that are nurtured here that help the young people grow💫

It's the end of the academic year, and it's been a year filled with memory-making at Jamie's Farm. 😊

We asked members of our team for their standout moments with young people across the year, and they couldn't wait to share the moments of inspiration, joy and transformation they've seen take place.

Whether it was learning how to chop logs, overcoming a nervousness of dogs, or seeing a lamb born for the first time, these small moments add up to big changes for the young people who experience our programme.

We're so proud of all of the 2000+ young people who have come through the farm gates this academic year. It's their willingness to embrace new things that keeps us doing what we do.

If you’re motivated by building relationships that help young people overcome adversity and thrive, this could be the opportunity for you.

At a time of real growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive Partnerships Coordinator to join our team on a 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract. You’ll help us connect with new and existing partners, keep our systems and communications running smoothly, and support the activity that ensures our farms are full of young people week in, week out.

As Partnerships Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day activity that helps schools and organisations bring young people to Jamie’s Farm. This is a varied role in a busy, ambitious and supportive team.

We are looking for someone who is personable and confident communicating with new people, by phone, email or in person. You’ll be organised and systematic, able to juggle a busy workload, follow things through and keep good records. This role may suit a recent graduate, someone starting out in their career or someone bringing transferable skills from another sector. You don’t need to arrive with lots of experience, but you will need to be curious, motivated and willing to learn quickly.
