MA24 is proud to support Matt Routledge and his action sci-fi short film, Hunted, as it heads to Los Angeles this weekend for the Big Bad Film Fest. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Directed by Matt Routledge and starring martial arts action star Mark Strange, Hunted combines old-school practical action with modern VFX.

🥋 The film is dedicated to martial arts legend Chuck Norris.

This also marks a growing collaboration between MA24 Magazine and Sport Nunchaku International, connecting our martial arts community with actors, directors, champions and martial artists doing exciting things around the world.

🥋 FANTASTIC SUMMER SCHOOL 2026! 🥋

Congratulations to everyone who successfully passed their gradings!

Every student worked amazingly from start to finish. Their behaviour and commitment were excellent, while their confidence, teamwork and empathy towards one another continued to grow throughout the Summer School.

We’re also delighted to confirm that Kesshin Kai Summer School 2027 is already being planned — and four of our five Founding Places have already gone!

Next year will be particularly special as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sensei Smith founding Kesshin Kai in 1997.

Sensei Smith is incredibly proud of Kesshin Kai and every discipline connected to the association, including Traditional Ju-Jitsu, Kobudo, Sport Nunchaku, Tai Chi and Iaido.

Summer School 2027 will be different. It will be special. And we’re already looking forward to it!

Celebrating Two Fantastic Belt Achievements 🥋👏

Congratulations to Jack, aged 17, who has passed his Purple Belt grading, and to Gosia, who has achieved her Brown & White Belt.

Both continue to make excellent progress on their martial arts journeys, and it’s fantastic to see the dedication, focus and effort they bring to their training.
