Thank you for your kind and generous donations to this year's harvest festival. Over the week we have been learning poems, making posters and writing reflections to help us think about where our food comes from. We are so grateful to all the farmers, drivers, delivery people, harvesters, packers, unpackers, shop workers (the list is endless) and most importantly to our parents who ensure we have something to eat everyday.

To improve our pupil's fitness and allow more time outdoors, we have introduced the weekly walk. Every Wednesday, KS2 can be seen challenging themselves on the route around the school while KS1 and Reception take to the route on a Monday afternoon. They are clearly enjoying this time together.

Every second Friday classes mix together: the older ones and the younger ones read together. It is a wonderful opportunity for the older ones to nurture and inspire the love of reading with the little ones and a perfect time for the little ones to practise their reading. Everyone loves their Friday afternoons.
