Everyone at Pinewood extends our warmest congratulations to three Old Pinewoodians who recently commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

We are immensely proud to celebrate the achievements of:

2Lt Casper Mason-Phelps (Old Pinewoodian 2017) – The Queen’s Royal Hussars

2Lt Gus Whitehead (OP 2016) – Irish Guards (who also commissioned notably as a Junior Under Officer)

2Lt Ollie Beckett (OP 2015) – Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers

On Saturday 4 July, we celebrated Speech Day and officially said farewell to our wonderful Year 8 Leavers.

After a beautiful service at Bourton Church and coffee on the terrace, parents joined pupils and staff in the marquee. Huge thanks to our Chairman of Governors, Richard White, and guest speaker Mark Semmence (Group CEO of the Repton Group) for their inspiring addresses to our pupils.

Today's Inter-House Athletics was pure thrill. The main event, tug of war, attracted a crowd as our pupils fought each round with grit and determination.

The morning also included a marathon relay, 100m 600m, and 800m running events, javelin, long jump, and vortex howler, with pupils earning points for their house from each event.

When the morning came to a close, the winners were announced, and today, Motcombe took the crown 👑🚩

We are delighted to announce that 21 Pinewood pupils have earned a combined total of 23 scholarships to their chosen senior schools.

Scholarships have been secured across a breadth of categories - including Academic, Art, Drama, Music, and Sport - to some of the region’s top senior schools.

These successes are a true testament to the hard work, talent, and dedication of our pupils.

An absolutely splendid Pre-Prep Sports Day 🏆☀️

​With a wonderful mix of excitement, camaraderie, healthy competition, and a few adorable distractions - like cute dogs on the sidelines - it was pure joy to see all the children competing with such grins across their faces.

Monday was a special day for our Street Dance and Acrobatics pupils who shared their hard work with parents.

In a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, they performed multiple fantastic choreographies that put their growth and creativity on full display. Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer them on!

Looking dapper, our pupils and staff posed for our whole school photograph yesterday. This wonderful tradition has been running for over a century, with the earliest Pinewood school photograph in our archive dating all the way back to 1924.

Last Friday’s Boarders' Summer Party was the perfect way to celebrate our boarding community. Full of outdoor games, including basketball, 'last man standing', welly wanging, water fights, and 'beat the goalie' to name a few, alongside non-stop laughter, it was truly one for the books. 🥳☀️
