Last Tuesday Key Stage 2 had a visit from Emma Johnson's instrumental ensemble. Through four stories and lots of music they taught us about the french horn, bassoon, tuba and violin. The children clapped rhythms, conducted the band and learnt the Italian musical words crescendo (get louder) and accelerando (get faster). Thank you to Music at Stow for arranging the visit!

Our music assembly today was all about what instruments we can learn in school. Your child could learn brass (including trumpet, trombone) or woodwind (clarinet and flute) or guitar or piano with our peripatetic teachers. These lucky children got to have a go with some brass instruments today and they did brilliantly!
